AI Is Already Here. Are We Leading It?

On October 16, Tallinn hosted HRxTech 2025, a bold and forward-looking conference dedicated to the intersection of human resources, technology, and leadership. Organized by Äripäev and Personaliuudised, the event brought together a diverse crowd of HR leaders, founders, digital transformation experts, and consultants — all asking the same big question:

How do we work, lead, and grow in an age where artificial intelligence is no longer optional?

Our CEO, Martin Rajasalu, was invited to speak on stage, contributing Moticheck’s perspective as both an AI product builder and daily user. Martin’s keynote didn’t sugarcoat it: “Let’s stop pretending AI isn’t changing the way we work.”

His message was clear: AI is already in your organization — not just in your future. And if you’re not actively leading that change, you’re already behind. Rather than pitching a product, the talk focused on organizational risks that arise when AI is left unmanaged or unacknowledged.

🚨 The Hidden Risks of Passive AI Adoption

  • Loss of key clients or partners due to unclear processes, security gaps, or unmanaged AI tools

  • Loss of younger talent, who expect ethical, modern tools — and leadership to match

  • Reputational damage from clinging to outdated narratives (“AI is a fad” or “It’s just IT’s problem”)

  • Legal and data privacy risks stemming from invisible usage or a lack of guidelines

  • Productivity gaps, where AI could assist but isn’t allowed to

  • Cultural silence, where people are already using AI tools but are afraid to talk about them

And maybe most importantly: The risk of doing nothing.

✅ So What Should Companies Do?

Martin outlined a practical and human-centric approach to AI leadership:

  • Start by asking your people: What tools are they already using? In what context?

  • Create guidelines and training, not to control, but to support experimentation

  • Redesign jobs, so AI enhances — not replaces — human skills

  • Make AI a leadership topic, not just an IT responsibility

  • Encourage cultural openness around experimentation, learning, and risk awareness

“Your biggest AI advantage isn’t in the code. It’s in your people.”– Martin Rajasalu

💡 Why This Matters for Moticheck

At Moticheck, we believe that trust and transparency aren’t just nice-to-haves — they are the foundation of performance and adaptability in the AI era. Our platform helps organizations surface what people are thinking, feeling, and seeing — long before it becomes visible in KPIs or exit interviews.

AI will change workflows, team dynamics, and leadership styles. The only question is whether you’ll let it happen to you — or guide it deliberately.

That’s why we’re building tools that help you:

  • Understand emerging risks

  • Track the human experience in real time

  • Give leaders the insight they need to act early and wisely

And yes, we use AI in our own work — but always in service of better human decisions, not automation for automation’s sake.
